Arrival of the group by flight APT/MXP and transfer by our De-Lux m/coach in the area of VENICE. Accommodation in hotel dinner and overnight.

 

 Day 2:

After breakfast, transfer to VENICE Tronchetto and from here clients by motor-boat (tickets not incl.) to San Mark’s Square. Upon arrival, half-day guided walking tour to admire the most important monuments of this unique lagoon city: St. Mark's Square with its imposing Basilica, the Ducal Palace, the Rialto Bridge and the Bridge of Sighs. Afternoon at leisure for shopping and/or optional visits. Return to Tronchetto by private motor-boat and back to the hotel by our m/coach. Dinner and overnight.

 

After breakfast, departure to FLORENCE. Upon arrival half-day guided city tour with its most important monuments: Piazza del Duomo, Giotto’s Tower-bell, S. Maria del Fiore Cathedral, Piazza della Signoria with its Palazzo Vecchio, S. Croce Church and the Florentine-gothic masterwork: the Ponte Vecchio. Time at leisure for shopping and continuation of the journey to CHIANCIANO TERME, nice thermal resort in the area of Siena. Upon arrival accommodation in hotel, dinner and overnight

 

After breakfast departure to SIENA. Upon arrival half-day guided visit of this town, famous for its" Palio", that takes place every year on the main square, Piazza del Campo. City tour with its most important monuments: S. Domenico, gothic basilica in which you can admire the Chapel and the relic of S. Caterina da Siena, Piazza Salimbeni where the historical seat of the Monte dei Paschi di Siena Bank lies and other gothic-renaissance buildings. Continuation of the journey to S. GIMIGNANO, famous for the city walls and a number of Watch Towers. After the visit return to the hotel, dinner and overnight.

 

After breakfast, departure to PISA for a half-day guided visit with Piazza del Duomo, well-known as “Piazza dei Miracoli”, where you can admire the Santa Maria Maggiore Cathedral, the Baptistery and the Cemetery, symbolically the three fundamental moments in men’s life: Birth (Baptistery), Life (Cathedral) and Death (Cemetery). Then continuation to LUCCA for a walking tour through Piazza S. Michele in Foro characteristic centre of the town life, and its Romanic Church, one of the most typical examples of the Pisan-Luccan architecture. The characteristic medieval streets Via degli Antiquari and Via Fillungo, Piazza del Mercato and walk on the beautiful walls of the town dating back to the XVI century. Return to hotel, dinner and overnight.

After breakfast departure to ASSISI for a half-day guided visit of St. Francis' birthplace with the cathedral dedicated to him, the Basilica of Santa Maria degli Angeli and the beautiful historical centre. Then continuation of the journey to the SORRENTINE PENINSULA. Upon arrival accommodation in hotel, dinner and overnight.

After breakfast optional full-day excursion to CAPRI and ANACAPRI. Transfer by private minibus to the port and embarkation to Capri. Upon arrival guided island tour with private minibus with stops for visits in Capri and Anacapri with possibility to visit the famous Villa of the Swedish doctor and writer Axel Munthe in which clients can admire various archaeological founds, dating back to the Roman Age. Then to the centre of Capri, very chic town with shops, hotels and restaurants lying along winding streets. The main square Piazza Umberto I, the so-called “Piazzetta” has a pretty white church and several open-air cafes. Time at leisure for shopping and/or private visits. Return to Sorrento late in the afternoon and transfer back to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

 

After breakfast, departure to POMPEJI. Upon arrival guided visit of the best preserved ancient Roman city buried under the ashes of the nearby Vesuvius in 79 A.D. rediscovered in the 18^th century. Then continuation to the surroundings of ROME. Accommodation in hotel, dinner and overnight.
