After breakfast full-day guided visit of the VATICAN MUSEUMS with the Sistine Chapel in the morning and continuation with the St. Peter’s Basilica, the most famous Christian church in the world housing the Pietà by Michelangelo in the afternoon. Return to the hotel late in the afternoon, dinner and overnight.

 

After breakfast full-day guided visit CLASSICAL ROME with the Pantheon, Piazza Navona, one of the most fancy squares of Rome with Bernini’s magnificent Four River Fountain, Piazza del Popolo and the famous Trevi Fountain and Piazza di Spagna, this one lying in the most beautiful commercial centre of the city at the feet of the Spanish Steps. Return to the hotel late in the afternoon, dinner and overnight.

 

After breakfast, full-day guided visit in the UNKNOWN ROME through narrow medieval alleys and streets till the comfortable market square, well known as Campo de’ Fiori and a walk through the old ghetto. In the afternoon a visit to the most particular church in Rome which is San Clemente. Return to the hotel late in the afternoon, dinner and overnight.

  

After breakfast, full-day guided visit CHRISTIAN ROME with the St. Maria Maggiore Basilica, San Giovanni in Lateran, the Catacombs and St. Paul’s Basilica outside the Walls. Rest of the afternoon at disposal for optional visits and/or shopping. Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight

 

After breakfast, full-day guided visit ANCIENT ROME with the Synagogue, the Campidoglio, the Coliseum, the Roman Forum, the Imperial Forum, the Pantheon, the best preserved pagan temple of the ancient period and the Church of St. Peter in Vincoli (with the Michelangelo Moses Statue). Return to the hotel late in the afternoon, dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, full-day guided excursion to the ROMAN CASTLES, small medieval villages outside Rome with Albano, historical town of Albalonga, Castelgandolfo, summer residence of the pope, a palace which was erected in the 17^th century and is surrounded by beautiful gardens. Ariccia, small village reachable by a huge bridge built by Pope Pio IX, Genzano, birth place of Marco Antonio Colonna, famous General of the Lepanto Battle, Nemi, famous all over the world for its strawberries and Frascati, pearl of the Roman Countryside, once residence of the Rich Romans and today famous for the production of white wine. Return to the hotel late in the afternoon, dinner and overnight

 

After breakfast, transfer APT/FCO in due time for the return flight. End of our services.
