After breakfast, transfer to VENICE Tronchetto (Bus parking terminal). Clients by “vaporetto” (steamer) to San Mark’s Square. Meet with our guide for an half-day guided city tour to admire the most important monuments of this unique lagoon city: St. Mark's Square, the Basilica, the Ducal Palace, Rialto Bridge and the Bridge of Sighs. Afternoon at disposal for private visits and/or shopping. Return to Tronchetto by steamer and transfer back to the hotel. Dinner and overnight.

 

After breakfast, departure to the main town of Tuscany: FLORENCE. Upon arrival guided visit of the town with its most important monuments: Piazza del Duomo, Giotto Tower-bell, S. Maria del Fiore Cathedral, Piazza della Signoria with its Palazzo Vecchio, S. Croce Church, and the Florentine-gothic masterwork: the Ponte Vecchio. Afternoon at leisure for optional visits and/or shopping. Continuation to the surroundings of FLORENCE. Accommodation in the reserved hotel, dinner and overnight.

 

After breakfast, full-day excursion to PISA and LUCCA. Departure to Pisa and half day guided visit with Piazza del Duomo, well known as “Piazza dei Miracoli”, where you can admire the Santa Maria Maggiore Cathedral, the Baptistery and the Cemetery, symbolically the three fundamental moments in men’s life: Birth (Baptistery), Life (Cathedral) and Death (Cemetery). In the afternoon continuation to Lucca for a guided walking tour through Piazza S. Michele in Foro characteristic centre of the town life, and its Romanic Church, one of the most typical examples of the Pisan-Luccan architecture. The S. Martino Dom, the National Pinacoteca. The characteristic medieval streets Via degli Antiquari and Via Fillungo, Piazza del Mercato and walk on the beautiful walls of the town dating back to the XVI century. Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight.

 

After breakfast departure to ROME. On the way stop in ASSISI for an optional guided visit of this medieval town, Saint Francis' birthplace, with the cathedral dedicated to him and the Basilica of Santa Maria degli Angeli with its beautiful historical centre. Continuation to PERUGIA main town of the green hearth of Italy: the region Umbria for an optional guided visit with characteristic medieval sites, Palazzo dei Priori, Maggiore Fountain, Dom of S. Lorenzo, the Etruscan Arch and walk along the Etruscan Walls. Continuation to the surroundings of ROME. Accommodation in the reserved hotel, dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, departure to ROME for a half day guided visit of ANCIENT ROME with Piazza Venezia, the Capitol Square masterpiece of Michelangelo, a panoramic view of the ruins of the Roman Forum, the Jewish Quarter, the Synagogue, the Tiberian Island, the Massenzio Basilica, the Church of San Pietro in Vincoli with Michelangelo’s statue of Moses, the Coliseum, the Arch of Constantine, Arch of Titus, Via dei Trionfi and the Circus Maximus.
